Boost Your Income with Offline Side Gigs

Today’s post is about earning extra money offline through side hustles, written by our awesome staff writer, Jordann. Enjoy!

Michelle is known as the queen of side hustles. She’s turned it into an art form. Just look at her latest extra income posts to see how much she’s achieved while keeping her full-time job.

Most blog posts about side hustles focus on making money online, but I want to highlight some great offline side hustles. Making extra money on the side has always been around. Even though the digital world offers countless new ways to earn, there are still reliable offline methods to make some extra cash.

Babysitting for extra income:
I come from a large family with lots of kids. I don’t charge my relatives when I babysit, but if I did, I could make a decent amount of money. Babysitting is easy, fun, and relaxing, especially in the evenings when kids go to bed early. You can just hang out and watch TV while getting paid!

House cleaning for extra money:
Many people around here clean houses part-time on a freelance basis. It’s a great way to earn extra cash with a lot of flexibility. If daytime cleaning doesn’t fit your schedule, many businesses prefer office cleaning in the evenings, which is perfect for someone with a full-time job. Personally, I don’t enjoy cleaning, but I know people who find it very rewarding.

Gardening for extra money:
Remember those entrepreneurial kids who mowed lawns and raked leaves? Adults can do the same! Offering gardening, lawn mowing, and cleanup services is a great seasonal way to earn extra cash. If you charge by the hour, you can easily undercut full-time landscaping companies, which have higher overhead costs. Most homeowners will even provide the necessary equipment, so no initial investment is needed.

I’ve been working on my side hustle since last August, mainly through my blog and writing. My husband is the king of offline side hustles, doing everything from painting to gardening to babysitting. There’s definitely money to be made through offline side hustles, so if blogging isn’t for you, try some of these options!

Do you have a side job to make extra money? Is it online or offline?
