Creative Ways to Boost Your Income

Creative Ways to Boost Your Income

Hey everyone, just a quick update today since I’m swamped with car stuff, work, and school. But I didn’t want to leave you hanging, and I have a lot on my mind that I’d love your opinions on.

Yesterday, I posted about possibly getting a part-time job. Some of you suggested I should just relax, while others thought I should look for ways to earn some extra money.

There are a lot of options out there, but I’m not sure how much time I can dedicate to it. Once I graduate and get promoted at work, things will likely get more stressful, and I probably won’t want something too time-consuming. However, since I don’t have kids, I know I’ll have some free time.

Here are some ideas I’m considering:

– **Start another blog:** I could get more serious about blogging, learn about SEO and other terms, and apply that knowledge to my blog.
– **Tutoring:** Many people ask me to tutor them, and I’ve always said no, but it might be worth considering.
– **Work at a tanning salon:** My friend works there. The pay isn’t great, but the job is easy.
– **Bartending:** Several of my friends bartend and make decent money. Plus, they get free drinks from other bartender friends.
– **Volunteering:** Although it wouldn’t earn me money, I could finally start volunteering at the animal shelter.
– **Retail:** I could ask for my old job back at the store I used to work at. My former boss still likes me.
– **Medical research tests:** I’d never do this because I hate needles and blood, but my friend works at a medical research facility and says the pay is great. Just throwing it out there for others.
– **Temp jobs:** Some of you mentioned temp jobs. What kinds of skilled temp jobs are out there?
– **Babysitting/nannying:** I did this when I was younger and remember the pay being good—$10 an hour back in middle school.

What do you guys currently do for extra money, or what would you recommend?
