Monthly Income Boost: Latest Updates

I’ve got an update on the extra monthly income plan I mentioned earlier. Back in August and October, my boyfriend and I were looking for ways to add about $1,000 to our monthly income to pay off our debt faster. Here’s what we’ve been doing:

1. **Doing More Secret Shops:** I don’t do these as much anymore, but I still make around $150 a month. After a few months, I’ve started getting easier and higher-paying assignments. Plus, I’ve received a lot of free Estee Lauder products!

2. **Continuing with Online Surveys:** I don’t do these often, mainly to stay on a research panel. Recently, I received cash in the mail, which was nice! I make about $20-$30 a month and get a lot of free stuff.

3. **Friend Moving In:** It looks like our friend won’t be moving in after all. She hasn’t mentioned it in a while, and we’re okay with that because we enjoy our space. We’re happy either way.

4. **BF Getting a Second Part-Time Job:** My boyfriend has been working more hours due to the holiday season, making an extra $500 a week until mid-January. He’s also getting raises in January and June, which is great.

5. **Getting a Side Job:** I haven’t put any effort into finding a side job yet. Maybe one day I’ll give it a try.

6. **Earning with Swagbucks:** I’ve slowed down on Swagbucks but still make a decent amount. It’s nice to buy things for free on Amazon.

For November and December, we’ll have about $2,500 in extra income. With my Christmas bonus and the fact that both of us get paid multiple times in December, we’ll definitely exceed that amount. If only every month was like December!

In regular months, we’ll make around $500 extra until summer when I get a raise and complete my ASA and MBA designations.

What have you been doing to make extra income?
